This program is recommended for children ages 5-12.
Discover the engineering marvels, new and old, that make our world great and explore new technologies that will make it even stronger! We will ride on a futuristic hover board and fire projectiles using one of the most basic engineering defenses: a catapult! We will learn about renewable solar and wind technologies and try to demolish a building to better understand earthquake construction and natural disaster protection!
Please Note:
-EVERYONE must have a ticket to enter; including children under the age of 2 (select ‘Child Under 2’ from above price types).
-Seating is at the discretion of House Management based on theater size and the number of people attending the show. You may be asked to sit in a designated section/area of the theater or auditorium.
-If you do not arrive by your show time, your seats may be released to people on the wait list.
-For groups of 10 children or more (ages 2-16) please call Discovery Theater at 202-633-8700 for a group discount.
