Just as the doors are closing, the lights dim, and the crowds shuffle out...

...a night of adventure awaits you as you enter the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History...

...and the wonders of the Mammal Hall and Sant Ocean Hall are all yours to explore until morning.

Go on an interactive exploration of the museum, participate in hands-on crafts projects, and view an IMAX film. Then roll out your sleeping bag and dream away in the darkened halls of one of the world’s most famous museums!

Activities include:

  • An interactive exploration through various museum exhibit halls and consisting of topic-based questions, puzzles, games, and challenges.
  • Exhibit-based craft projects.
  • View an IMAX film: Island Of Lemurs: Madagascar 3D.

Terms and conditions: By registering for this program, you are agreeing to the program rules; to have at least one adult present for every three children; and to submit a signed release form for each person in your group. Plesae note that only children ages 8 to 12 are allowed to attend.
