Spend Wednesday mornings in song and in good company with the Encore Chorale--the nation’s largest and fastest-growing choral program for older adults. Now in its fifth year, the Encore Chorale begins a new session of weekly rehearsals under the direction of conductor Jeanne Kelly.

The class is designed for singers 55 and older and is instructive and enjoyable. Learn proper breathing techniques and how to improve your voice through tone production as Kelly guides participants through rehearsals in four-part singing.

The series culminates in a free public performance.

Kelly, former conductor of the Georgetown University Concert Choir and music director of the U.S. Naval Academy Women’s Glee Club, is the founder and president of Encore Creativity Arts for Older Adults.

No audition required; participants should be 55 or older.
