Kim Kirkpatrick earned a BA from the Corcoran College of Art+Design and a MFA from the University of Maryland. A resident of the Washington area since 1959, he has more than 20 years of experience in landscape photography. His works visually explore the Washington–Baltimore region. He has been the the recipient of an Aaron Siskind Foundation photographer's fellowship grant. He has taught in a number of institutions, and continues his career at the Corcoran and at The Smithsonian Associates.
