Biography

Cindy BriggsFor over 25 years, Cindy Briggs has been teaching art Internationally and from coast to coast. She enthusiastically shares the creative journey with her students as she teaches to all levels. Cindy's work has been featured in many international juried National Watercolor Society exhibitions, among other Watercolor Society, University, Gallery and Museum exhibitions. She has been published in Watercolor Magazine, Plein Air Magazine, Outside Artist, Conde Nast Magazine among local and regional magazines. She teaches watercolor workshops for the Smithsonian Associates Art Studios, University of Utah, Kimball Art Center in Park City, The Art Station in Bend, Oregon, French Escapade Artist Tours, among other arts organizations. Cindy has worked with Daniel Smith for decades as a feature demonstrator and instructor. She has also served as a juror for regional events and national arts festivals.

For traveling, she works primarily in watercolors for its immediacy and easy packing, she also enjoys experimenting with mixed media, oils and pastels. Cindy produces numerous online watercolor program packages and enjoys providing a virtual front row seat for all of her students. After graduating from Brigham Young University in Communication Arts Design she worked as an Art Director for leading advertising agencies in Seattle and Los Angeles, then focused full-time on her passion for art and family. From a family of artists, she has been mentored in the arts since she was a child and has also studied with numerous leading artists. With a strong foundation in the arts, she has a passion for passing it forward and mentoring her students. A Co-owner of Make Every Day A Painting Workshops Artist Tours she has also co-authored a popular watercolor instruction manual called "Make Every Day A Painting."
