MAY 7   Wherever I May Rhône

The Rhône Valley is home to some of the world's most iconic appellations such as Hermitage and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Despite being part of the same broad region, the northern and southern Rhône produce distinctly different wines styles, a contrast mirrored in the products of their winemakers. Explore why Syrah and Viognier reign supreme in the north while Grenache and Marsanne rule down south. Find out why why the north is more mono-varietal and the south is all about the blends. As you discuss and taste multiple expressions from across the Rhône Valley, discover why wines from this beautiful area of France are favorites of sommeliers the world over.

JUNE 4  Grape Explorations: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Context

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are among the most well-loved yet most misunderstood grapes on the planet. Their ability to express terroir or sense of place leads to a multitude of styles across the globe. In this deep dive, explore wines from three benchmark appellations for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir respectively. Learn about the varietal signatures of each grape and how their flavor profiles change from the old world to the new.

JULY 16  Sommeliers’ Choices: Hidden Gems from Around the World

What do sommeliers’ drink at their own dinner tables? Travel the world (virtually, of course) with your own personal sommelier to discover all sorts of favorites from the pros, including grapes and regions you may have never heard of, the best producers and values in well-known regions and wines with compelling stories.
