A beautifully crafted chain can adorn a handmade pendant or be worn alone as a unique and expressive piece of jewelry. Learn to create three different chain designs using wire-working, forming, and texturing. Wire fusing is also demonstrated and instructions for a complementary clasp are included.
Students have plenty of time to practice each chain design. They leave with a necklace-length piece incorporating all three designs or a bracelet-length chain in a single design.
Some previous wirework experience such as the Introduction to Beading course or similar workshops is recommended. Kits are available for purchase from the instructor, please see supply list for details.
