How can something that covers 71% of the Earth's surface be so vulnerable to damage by humans? Campers join leagues of scientists, including some from the Smithsonian, in efforts to keep the world's oceans healthy. They take on ocean exploration and study, marine preservation, and sustainability efforts with virtual visits to the Natural History Museum; conduct research on the Smithsonian's Ocean Portal; and participate in ocean cleanup challenges right from home.
