The Adventures of Hamza is a vividly illustrated, action-packed collection of tales filled with encounters with giants, demons, and dragons; abductions and hair-raising chases; and believers, as well as those who resisted the truth. Also known as Hamzanama, these legendary stories were written and illustrated from 1557 to 1572 during India's Mughal dynasty. A digitized copy of a version of the stories published by the National Museum of Asian Art provides visual inspiration for the dioramas of epic battles and monsters.
