Looking for a choral program that celebrates memorable music across the United States? This is the one for you. Melodia Mae Rinaldi leads the ensemble in arrangements of the hits you know and love. Songs may include favorites by Dolly Parton, Pete Seeger, Stevie Wonder, Irving Berlin, and others, selected by the conductor. (The final song list and musical arrangements are chosen to fit the specific vocal and musical abilities of the group.)

No audition is required. However, it is important that participants be able to sing on pitch; have a basic understanding of musical notation; able to follow a choral score as music is rehearsed; and practice their vocal part by listening to rehearsal links that are provided. Singers receive general instruction in vocal techniques that include exercises in healthy breath management for singing and improving your singing tone and range. Weekly voice part sectionals may be scheduled as needed. Rehearsals culminate in a free performance on June 15 for invited guests (reservations are required).

Rinaldi is a conductor, performer, and educator with performing arts programs around the Washington area, including the Gaithersburg Chorus, Luna Women's Chorus, and various programs at the Kentlands Arts Barn. As a certified educator and coach, she teaches music and theater to all ages, specializing in music literacy and artistic growth as an artist in residence at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts and in many community theater and opera productions.
