Take an artful break and explore the fascinating, vast collections of the Smithsonian. The theme is inspired by the shifting of seasons and heavily features nature and objects that speak to the changing colors of fall. Each week, learn about a featured collection item and follow along with the instructor to create sketched studies of the object. Interesting facts and tidbits about the collection items are shared. Relax into the sketching process as the instructor guides you through breaking down and seeing the object as you prepare to draw. This drawing break is designed to be easy to join: All you need is a pencil and paper.
