Joy, warmth, and community illuminate seasonal holiday celebrations the world over.  This signature Discovery Theater show celebrates the history and customs of Diwali (Devali), Chanukah, Las Posadas, Ramadan, Sankta Lucia Day, Kwanzaa, Christmas, and the First Nations’ tradition of the Winter Solstice in an interactive event that bridges communities and cultures. Please note: Tickets prices for Seasons of Light are $1 higher than other performances. Group prices are $7 per person; individual tickets are $8 for children and $9 for adults.

The educational content in this show is recommended for Ages 5-10 (K-Grade 5).

Note About Children under 2
 Everyone must have a ticket to enter, including children under the age of 2.  Please add the "Child Under 2" price type to your cart when completing your purchase.

Discovery Theater Tickets
We no longer mail out physical tickets; please hang on to your email confirmation so you can reference your show information.  Individual ticket buyers may also re-send their email confirmation to themselves by logging into their account on SmithsonianAssociates.org.  Upon arrival to the theater, all ticketholders will be asked to check-in at the Box Office and wait to be seated by a House Manager.
