Materials for this program

Warp and weft floats offer a fantastic way to enhance texture and develop intricate but simple color interactions in woven textiles. Continue to develop your beginning weaving skills and learn essential pick-up stick techniques while weaving a beautiful two-color cotton table runner. Start your project with the direct warping method and expand on the plain weave structure as you explore creating striking warp and weft floats for added texture and depth on your handwoven piece. Give your piece a polished look with a hemstitched finish.

The instructor provides step-by-step guidance throughout the process. This class is suitable for beginning weavers as well as those confident on their looms.
