Oppose and defy the ordinary and mundane to create mixed-media gems using an array of resist materials on gel plates. This class is focused on ways to use materials such as chalk, oil pastels, markers, wax crayons, and miscellaneous household materials to draw images as well as make patterns that can be transferred to the plate and printed. Employ your drawing skills or use existing images and enhance prints with stencils and stamps. The resulting prints may be finished products or foundations for additional layering. Some gel plate printing experience recommended.
