What masterpieces can you create with paper, paint, and scissors? Explore a multitude of possibilities using a wide assortment of handmade and found papers alongside acrylic paints and their cousin, acrylic inks. Using mat board and canvas as substrates, experiment with both collaging into painted surfaces and painting on collaged surfaces to produce pieces with texture and depth. Learn the characteristics of various types and weights of acrylic media and how to apply and manipulate them to achieve richness in distinctive effects. Cultivate your personal style and experiment with representational and abstract subjects in your compositions.
