Learn the techniques required to capture great nighttime photos, including how to use exposure modes, exposure compensation, white balance, and ISO. For the second session, meet in the field to photograph the World War II Memorial, Washington Monument, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial.

A tripod and camera with exposure modes such as P, A/Av, S/Tv, and M are required for this class. A remote shutter release is recommended but not required (we can use the self-timer instead). Astrophotography will not be discussed.

• This studio arts program is a combination of a Zoom Meeting to allow for patron and instructor interaction online for the first session, and the second session is in person and on location in Washington, D.C.
• All Studio Arts programs require an online registration for each participant so that the instructor can provide individual attention to every student registered for the program.
