Create a 2D, contemporary mixed-media mosaic artwork while you learn the basics of mosaics, experience working with a variety of materials, and enjoy the company of others in the studio. The instructor provides everything you need to create a small home décor artwork in a design of your choosing. Materials provided include ceramics, glass, beads, costume jewelry, and bangles. Works are made using the direct method of mosaic fabrication, and the adhesive is a thin-set mortar (concrete) tinted black.

Please note that a separate $50 supply fee is payable directly to the instructor at the start of class and includes tool loan, prepared substrate, and mosaic materials. Students may bring supplemental materials. All levels of experience are welcome.
