Rev up your collage and mixed-media experience to create an enhanced repertoire of materials and techniques in this two-day intensive class. Transform papers of almost any type, as well as everyday objects such as buttons, beads, fabric, metal, clay, and plant material into dimensional elements. Experiment with gels, pastes, fabric, inks, paints, pigments, and other materials that create unique textures and effects. While the focus is on creating a variety of different components, you also explore alternatives for the use of materials in smaller-format 2- and 3-D artwork.
