Art warmups are designed to allow students to jump right into working without trepidation or overthinking. With the help of prompts, the warmups can be the starting point for a new artwork or a chance to explore new materials and techniques with no wrong answers. Going beyond the color wheel, students engage with positive and negative space, sketching quickly, and mixed-media techniques to build layers and texture. This course is designed for all levels of experience.
