In this Masters and Mediums class, meet Botticelli, Michelangelo, Watteau, and other masters of trois crayon art. Instruction in a variety of techniques helps you on your way to inspired three-chalk art. Students can expect to view examples of popular works and begin a piece in trois crayon from their own reference photos. The Renaissance is discussed, as is the importance of this technique to study light and shadow for portrait making. Basic portrait drawing instruction is included.
