Water … earth … fire … air. Campers must balance the four elements in their quest to become bending masters. Through investigations of Asian arts and culture as well as science experiments and games, they enter the world of the Avatar. Campers learn what style of bending best suits them, practice their skills, and create a festival for families to enjoy. Field trips to the Asian Art and Natural History museums and the National Gallery of Art enrich campers' explorations as they track down the four elements on the National Mall.
