Jancis Robinson has been writing about wine since 1975 and is described by Decanter magazine as "the most respected wine critic and journalist in the world." She is the coauthor, with Hugh Johnson, of the new 9th edition of The World Atlas of Wine. Since it was first published in 1971, the Atlas has been widely recognized as an authoritative wine reference.
Robinson writes weekly for the Financial Times and is editor in chief of JancisRobinson.com and founding editor of The Oxford Companion to Wine. She was awarded an OBE in 2003 and has six James Beard Awards. In a conversation with Dave McIntyre, formerly the Washington Post’s wine columnist, she shares her expertise and insights on what’s new in the world of wine.
Afterward, raise a glass as you sample a selection of wines representative of today’s trends. Robinson signs copies of The World Atlas of Wine (Mitchell Beazley), available for purchase.
