James Beard Award–winning chef Michael Schlow first opened Alta Strada in Wellesley, Massachusetts, in 2005. The restaurant was born from his wish to share his love and passion for Italian food, reflected in the menu’s handmade pastas and other authentic classics. Since then, Alta Strada has expanded to four more locations, including Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.

Enjoy a three-course lunch specially designed for Smithsonian Associates at Alta Strada in Fairfax’s Mosaic District. Executive chef Matt Smith introduces the menu and guides participants through a tortellini-folding lesson before the meal.

Please note: The price includes meal and gratuities; drinks are not included and may be purchased separately at the restaurant.
