In this experimental textile course, play with classic textile manipulation techniques to make new work. Explore smocking, pleating, origami, and more. Throughout the course, learn about the design process and project development. Apply your newfound skills to projects from quilting and garment construction to interior and home decor. Some sewing experience is suggested.
