Please Note: This program has an updated class schedule (originally September 28 to November 9, 2026).
This class is for students wanting to master the standing figure and explore dynamic ways to dress it up. Focusing on the female form, students learn to draw a croquis (model) in believable proportion. All body types are included: from short and tall to skinny, curvy, young, old, and beyond.
Garments are an amazing opportunity to use drawing and watercolor to render color, pattern, texture, and drapery. In particular, explore rendering various fabrics such as satin, velvet, and sheers. The class invites students to explore mixed-media options in addition to ink and watercolor.
Designed for students of all levels.
