Monuments and memorials range from monumental and famous to obscure and in danger of being forgotten. In class, discuss tips, tricks, and strategies to take great photos of structures, statues, fountains, mausolea, battlefields, obelisks, gravestone iconography, cenotaphs, fraternal organization symbolism, and murals. In between classes, you are encouraged to photograph subjects also including vintage structures such as storefronts and signage to document these items before they are gone.
