Take a break from your art creating routine and revive and reimagine your unfinished or unsuccessful pieces. Using an assortment of mixed-media materials and techniques, explore ways to alter works on paper or canvas to arrive at new interpretations. By cutting, pasting, painting, stamping, punching, and other means, you have a multitude of options for manipulating and reconfiguring materials into a new form. Discussion of design and composition forms the foundation of assessing options and possible solutions. The reinvented pieces may be remounted on canvas or matboard as desired. The instructor provides an assortment of specialized materials.
