Materials for this program

By Theresa Otteson

Explore the basics of color theory, including temperature and value, as well as harmony-creating color schemes. In three hands-on projects, learn to use a color wheel with tinting and toning, color charts, and color harmony studies. Demonstrations highlight color matching techniques. Please see the explanation of required pre-class preparatory work in the website supply list.

Note: The instructor demonstrates in oil, and this class is recommended highly for students working in oil, but students with acrylic may also join the class.
