Abundant in the natural world, plants are also everywhere in our stories and culture. In this deep dive into the secret world of plants, campers explore the fascinating connections between plants and stories, from mythical forests to real-life botanical wonders. Through trips to the U.S. Botanic Garden, the Natural History Museum, and the American Art Museum, campers learn the art of botanical illustration, compile field guides, and discover ways plants shape history. At the end of the week, families enter an exhibition of art books, nature writing, fantasy floral sculptures, and anatomy-inspired prints.
