Since becoming the official Residence of the Ambassador to Italy to the United States of America in 1977, Villa Firenze has been among the most prestigious diplomatic residences in the city. Learn about the history of Italy’s presence in Washington, as well as the role the ambassador’s residence plays in fostering international relationships.
