Soldiers and Dioramas blasts into to space! Star Wars, The War of the Worlds, City of Ember, and more favorite films provide the basis for the camp and its fictional battles. Campers create dioramas depicting their own apocalyptic or alien world populated by robots, aliens, and humans. Visits to the Udvar-Hazy Center and the American History Museum to view aircraft, military hardware, and movie props provide the inspiration. Gaming and enjoying clips from sci-fi flicks also help them to explore past and present themes of science fiction in literature, comics, and film.
