Inspired by J.K. Rowling’s magical world and the Smithsonian’s remarkable collection of strange and wonderful creatures, campers spend the week immersed in the fictional world of Ilvermorny, the American counterpart to Hogwarts. Campers are sorted into Ilvermorny houses, explore the myths and folklore behind the founding of the school of magic, contribute to the field of magizoology, and create their own Newt Scamander–style portable menageries. They even have the chance to test their wand-dueling and Quidditch skills against the students of Hogwarts!
