Campers explore the art of coding as they make original interactive works that “listen” to sounds and respond to video as well as build their own Instagram-style webcam filters. They investigate the creative artists who use code to express themselves and view interactive and data-based installations at Artechouse and the Renwick Gallery for inspiration. Writing their own computer programs and manipulating images, campers treat computer coding as an artistic medium all its own.
