Campers feast on a smorgasbord of book arts as they learn to alter existing books and create snake books, accordion books, tunnel books, journals (and more), all from scratch. Field trips to the American Art Museum and Smithsonian Libraries provide appetizing samplings of the amazing books in these collections and the many creative ways to construct and alter books. (This pairs well with Paper Potluck in Week 6.)
