Meet Metis!
The National Zoo welcomed Metis, a male Amur tiger. Metis is the largest of the Zoo’s tigers at 360 pounds and he enjoys swimming and exploring his new home. The Zoo hopes that his arrival may lead to the first tiger cub for the Zoo in 73 years!
