A Rainbow Across the Smithsonian
Gabriel Dawe's Plexus A1, created entirely out of sewing thread, filled a hall in the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery for the exhibition WONDER in 2015. The entire installation took about 55 MILES of thread!
