Pack your bags and choose a date in history! Adventurers hop into a time machine and travel to a different past civilization each day. Virtual visits to view Egyptian mummies in the Natural History Museum and ancient Chinese artifacts in the Asian Art Museum immerse them in the arts, games, and history of civilizations around the world and across time. Where—and when—will you go next?
In grade-appropriate, week-long sessions, participants take a deep dive into the Smithsonian’s collections. These Adventures engage young people with unique content about natural sciences, history, art, and so much more. Weekday sessions explore a variety of Smithsonian topics and include virtual visits to museums, hands-on projects, games, collaborative challenges, and conversations with experts during 2 hours of live, online interaction with a team of experienced instructors.
Multiple Offerings! This Adventure is also offered at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET. The same material will be taught in both sessions; please do not register for both.
