Astronauts: prepare for lift off! Spend the week exploring outer space and learning amazing things about our solar system, such as the structure and behavior of the sun and why Pluto is no longer considered a planet. Virtual visits to the Air and Space Museum and the Udvar-Hazy Center let adventures explore the moon, stars, and planets that fill our universe.
Smithsonian Adventures and experts at the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center (SEEC) have partnered to make the world of the Smithsonian the perfect destination for young learners. In live, one-hour sessions, SEEC educators lead interactive explorations of objects and artworks in the Smithsonian’s collections that spark art making and experimentation.
Please note: these programs are not developed for children under five.
Registration for this Adventure will close two weeks prior to the first session date. If you are trying to register after that point, please email us at SummerCamp@si.edu and we will do our best to accommodate your request if space is still available.
