Jewelry by Mïa Vollkommer
From chic retailers to high-fashion runways, tassel-embellished jewelry is proving to be an enduring trend. Learn to work with metal discs and wire to create two styles of tasseled adornments that can be used to make earrings, or as pendants for necklaces. Texturing metal with a hammer, making unique ear wires, and tassel making (without getting into knots) are among the skills covered. A kit containing sheet metal, embroidery floss, and wire for findings is available for purchase in class for $30, and Studio Arts hand tools are available for check out.
