Use fun, powerful Lightroom software to organize your pictures, choose and develop your best images, avoid mistakes—and become a better photographer. The class primarily focuses on understanding and using Lightroom’s Library and Develop modules through seven classroom sessions that include lectures, demonstrations, selected resources, hands-on practice, weekly assignments, as well as one Sunday-afternoon location shoot to explore best capture techniques.

Special emphasis is placed on learning vital skills regarding how and where to store and access images, protecting image integrity, and organization. Students use the latest version of the software on PC’s in the computer lab, or may bring a personal laptop with Lightroom loaded.

7 classroom sessions (Oct. 16 to Nov. 27) plus 1 field trip (Oct. 22), 3 hours each
