Sally Quinn

The story of celebrated journalist Sally Quinn's life is also the story of modern Washington during some of its most turbulent years. Tonight, Quinn, wife and confidante to the late Washington Post executive editor Ben Bradlee, discusses her pivotal role in the social and political world of Washington and her search for deeper meaning to her life.

In a wide-ranging interview with Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward and journalist and author Elsa Walsh, she shares how her entire life can best be understood as a spiritual quest, from summers spent as a child with her Scots Presbyterian family in the South where she learned about voodoo from the household staff, to her education at 22 different schools, and of course her adventures as a Washington Post reporter and celebrated society doyenne.

Quinn is a longtime Washington Post journalist, columnist, television commentator, and founder of the religious website OnFaith. Her book Finding Magic: A Spiritual Memoir (Harper One) is available for sale and signing.
