Yotam Ottolenghi, food-world superstar and New York Times bestselling cookbook author, started out in the culinary world as a pastry chef. Known for his inventive, vibrant savory and vegetarian dishes, as well as his London delis and fine-dining restaurant NOPI, Ottolenghi now shares his secrets for making delicious baked goods, desserts, and confections.

His new book, Sweet (Ten Speed Press), written with pastry chef Helen Goh, features more than 120 recipes for cookies, cakes, mini-cakes, cheesecakes, confectionary, tarts, pies, puddings, and more. Many contain his signature ingredients and flavors such as rose petals, figs, saffron, orange blossom, star anise, pistachio, almond, cardamom, and cinnamon.

Join Ottolenghi and Goh for a discussion about their book and the art of desserts, including a step-by-step baking demonstration. Then enjoy a reception spotlighting Ottolenghi’s dessert recipes. A copy of Sweet is included in the ticket price and is available for signing.
