More than 50 years after his death, Robert Frost remains one of the most beloved and critically respected poets of all time. Winner of four Pulitzer prizes, Frost was a groundbreaking artist and cultural icon, a rural sage who became America’s “national poet.” His poetry suggested how small encounters between individual and the natural world could often be construed as metaphors for the larger themes of the human condition.
