Join some of the district’s knowledgeable local booksellers as they preview upcoming titles in genres they know and love.
Solid State Books is a new addition to bustling H St NE, where you can browse until midnight on the weekends. Solid State’s Gwen Hunter previews several fall literary fiction titles. Emilie Sommer of East City Bookshop, which occupies a charming space on Capitol Hill, has the scoop on the season’s new biographies and memoirs. Hannah Oliver Depp, from Petworth’s new Loyalty Bookstore, introduces you to several wonderful local authors from the DC area. And Eileen McGervey with One More Page in Arlington, has all the best mystery and suspense titles, from absorbing whodunnits to terrifying thrillers.
