Draw, roll, press, peel, and lift! Campers express their creativity—and have plenty of fun—as they explore a variety of traditional and modern printmaking techniques. Campers visit the Hirshhorn Museum to see works of modern art and the Freer and Sackler Galleries to discover traditional prints. They then use color, lines, quirky patterns, and whimsical images on potato prints, monoprints, gyotaku (Japanese fish printing), and more to demonstrate that printmaking is indeed a versatile art.
