Spend Wednesdays in song and in good company with the Encore Chorale. Now in its eighth year, the Encore Chorale begins a new session of weekly rehearsals under the direction of conductor Jeffrey Dokken.

The classes are designed for singers 55 and older and are instructive and enjoyable. Learn proper breathing techniques and how to improve your voice through tone production as the conductors guide participants through rehearsals in four-part singing.

This will culminate into a free public performance.

Dokken is the music director and conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia and artistic director of the orchestra’s chorale.

15 sessions plus performance

No audition required; participants should be 55 or older.
