Explore a wide range of artistic possibilities as you investigate the properties of graphite, colored pencils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and oil. Through guided drawing exercises and painting assignments referencing forms from still-life arrangements to en plein air studies, students experiment with the techniques and tools of a different media each week. Critiques enable students to develop their individual styles and skills.
Students must have taken previous drawing and painting classes; the course is not appropriate for beginners.
