DISCOVERY THEATER, Just a Dream: The Green Play
Tuesday, April 17 - 10:15 a.m.

The educational content in this program is recommended for children ages 5-11.

Making the world green isn't just a dream! This fun and funny, eco-friendly play uses puppets, live theater, and magical stage effects to tell the story of Walter, the litterbug. As Walter's wacky journey ("It's Just a Dream!") alerts him to what he must to do to protect the environment, students also learn what it takes to preserve the planet.

The original play by Adventure Theatre and directed by Michael Bobbitt, is based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg, the author of Jumanji and The Polar Express. Last summer, the play toured Malaysia. See this internationally acclaimed play on its U.S. Tour for Earth Day

This program is presented in partnership with Adventure Theatre and is funded by a generous grant from the Smithsonian Women's Committee.

EVERYONE must have a ticket to enter, including children under the age of 2.  For groups of 10 children or more (ages 2-16) please call us at 202-633-8700 for a group discount.
