Based on Europe’s best-selling comic character, Titeuf, le film is the feature directing debut of Swiss comic book artist Zep (Philippe Chappuis). For Titeuf, there’s nothing worse than not being invited to the birthday party of the coolest girl in school—not even the fact that his parents are going through a rough patch. Titeuf ’s view of the adult world mixes equal parts naivete and early-teen rebelliousness. Fun for the whole family.
