Discovery Theater favorites Coach, Williebob and Boogie Woogie Bennie return to party with us and sing brand new songs from their recently released album, Colonel Purple Turtle.   Don't worry, they'll also sing some of your old favorites, and we'll have fun together like we always do when these great kids' musicians visit us on The Mall.  Be there and celebrate!   Their new CD and companion book will be on sale after the show.

Our loyal families have asked us to make it easier to enjoy a Smithsonian experience…shows on weekends and holidays, special family festivals, activities and shows where family is the star.  Our friends from Jammin' Java, the Virginia coffeehouse and music club, are an expert in children’s music entertainment and we’re joining forces to bring the best in family friendly music right to your favorite Smithsonian destination.  This special series features rockin’ dance party concerts for children ages 2-6, with a complimentary cup of Jammin’ Java coffee and snacks on the side for their grown-ups.  There will be plenty of room for your tot to dance around and you’ll have the chance to connect with other parents while the kids enjoy the concert!
